Too many thinks that the Lutheran church in Finland offers Christian activities only for children, 15-year-old kids (confirmation), and for elders. Anyhow, it must be declared that this in not the whole truth. Not at least in Tampere.
As some of you, my dear readers, may know, Uusi Verso had quite a big campaign of appearance this spring. Tapahtumaviikko - a week full of gigs (28.4.-4.5.), was the part of the campaign where people had a good chance to get a glipse of what Uusi Verso offers in reality - services designed young adults in mind, music shows, parties, talk shows, latino style dance classes in the rythm of gospel music etc. The campaign was to make everyone in Tampere [region] know that Lutheran Parishes of Tampere do have many alternatives of Christian gigs'n things designed for/by young adults from 18 to over 30-year-olds. These activities are named Uusi Verso.
The campaign and the week-full of gigs went well! For me it was an honour and a pleasure to be part of the campaign. If you live in Tampere - welcome to attend and make Uusi Verso! Or if you know someone living around here, send a word of Uusi Verso! For more information, use the link above.
Check out the short movie of Uusi Verso, called Jaakko ja Uusi Verso, that was made for the campaign. Leave your comments!

Moooi Karoliina!
